On 21 November 2025, representatives of the INBIOWAL project took part in the conference “Together for Food Safety – Partnership of Knowledge and Industry”, held at the Wrocław Technology Park (WPT). The event gathered experts from academia, industry and public administration, creating a space for discussing how cooperation across sectors can strengthen national food security and accelerate the development of innovative life-science technologies.

Participation and Representation

The University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław (UPWr) was represented jointly by Dr. Joanna Wicińska from the Division of Cooperation with the Economy of Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, and Dr. Witold Pietrzak together with Assoc. Prof. Filip Boratyński, who were present on behalf of the INBIOWAL project. Their participation allowed the university to present both its broader collaboration efforts and the scientific advances developed within the project.

About the Conference

The conference programme was divided into two thematic parts.
The first addressed cooperation within the NUTRIBIOMED Key National Cluster and the growing technological and infrastructural capabilities of the Wrocław Technology Park. Presentations highlighted the importance of innovation ecosystems and cross-sector collaboration in building competitive, sustainable solutions for the life-science industry.

The second thematic block focused on national food security and the resilience of food systems in crisis scenarios. Presentations and discussions examined strategic issues such as resource protection, supply-chain continuity and preparedness for emergency situations. The conversations underscored the need for close cooperation between research institutions, industry partners and public authorities.

Impact for INBIOWAL

For the INBIOWAL project, participation in the event provided an effective platform for increasing visibility, presenting scientific achievements and establishing new contacts with industry and institutional partners. It also reinforced the role of the project within the regional innovation ecosystem and supported the long-term mission of transferring research results into practical, sustainable applications.
